Draft for review

We help individuals and families compare personal policies. The cards below open a draft guide for each line. Each guide cites a public source.

What it covers

The personal lines on this hub, plus a guide for people who have a Citizens policy or a takeout letter. The checkup can point you at a shorter list.

What it doesn't cover

A guide is not the policy, and it is not a price. Life and long-term care are described on their own page because whether this agency places them is still an open question.

Florida specifics

The state minimum auto policy is not the same as the protection most households want. Home policies treat a hurricane deductible separately from other wind, and they leave out flood. Those two facts drive most of the conversations in this office.

How we help

Pick a line, or start a quote and check every line you want us to shop. Call either office if you would rather start on the phone.

Personal lines

Questions people ask

Which personal policies do people usually ask about first?

Auto, home, and flood. Flood is separate from the homeowners policy, including storm surge. A condo, a rental, and an umbrella are the usual next conversations.

Can one company write every line?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. We shop the companies that appoint the agency and tell you when a line has to be placed somewhere else.

Do I have to live in Jacksonville or Middleburg?

The agency is licensed throughout Florida. The two offices are on Beach Boulevard and in Middleburg. People in Duval, Clay, and nearby counties use both.

What should I bring?

The current declarations page, if you have one. The address, the roof year if you know it, and the drivers on the cars are enough to start.
