Coverage we shop

Draft for review

These guides are drafts for review. Each one is original, written for Florida, and cites a public source. None of them names a price.

What it covers

Personal lines, from auto and home to flood, condo, renters, and an umbrella. Business lines, from general liability and a business owners policy to workers' compensation and contractor coverage. A separate page explains a Citizens takeout letter.

What it doesn't cover

These pages do not quote a price, name a company we can bind today, or promise a claim result. They do not replace the policy form. The declarations page controls.

Florida specifics

Wind, flood, and the roof come up on almost every Florida home. Auto starts with personal injury protection and property damage liability, not with bodily injury. Business coverage often starts with a contract, a landlord, or a payroll rule. The guides say which public source we used.

How we help

We shop more than one company, explain the differences, and you choose. Call the Jacksonville office on Beach Boulevard or the Middleburg office on Blanding Boulevard, or start a quote.

Questions people ask

Does a page here mean you can write that policy?

A page explains the coverage in plain English. It is not a promise that a company will offer it at your address. Ask the office, or start a quote, and we will tell you what we can shop.

Where should I start if I am not sure?

Use the coverage checkup. It asks about the house, the cars, and whether a Citizens letter showed up, then points to the pages that fit.

Do you publish prices?

No. What you pay depends on the address, the construction, the drivers, and the company. We compare those choices with you.

Are flood and a hurricane the same topic?

No. A homeowners policy in Florida usually includes wind, with its own hurricane deductible. Flood, including storm surge, is a separate policy.
